Tidy and comfy. Easy check in and check out. Good location and good facilities.

Little bit of dust on tv remote, a shower basin not entirely clean and some mould on the shower basin.

"A fabulous historic hotel, with great facilities and very friendly staff."

Room on the 8th floor had a fab view from the small 'Juliet' balcony! The ability to be able to open a door to the outside in the room is real bonus in a CBD hotel. Being able to let the sounds of the city in as well as some fresh air was fantastic! Also, for old movie buffs, knowing that Ava Gardner stayed in the hotel while filming 'One The Beach' (1959) is a real buzz:)

The Flinders St trains were heard most of the night, but hey, that is part of the charm and fun of being so close to the grand old station

"Everything was perfect except the buzzing sound. I’ll stay here again."

Ver good location and the staff was very responsive. Rooms (corner) were big and comfortable.

There was a buzzing sound (probably from the speaker in the ceiling) in the room which the hotel was not able to fix during our stay. The room cleaning on day 1 was not up to the mark but when we informed the reception, it was done perfectly well on the next day.
