Sofitel Rabat Jardin Des Roses

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at this lovely hotel. The gardens are very nice and full of palm trees and flowers. The breakfast buffet is extensive, with excellent croissants, and is served in a room or shaded terrace overlooking the gardens - a very pleasant way to start the day. We had a high-floor corner suite with a balcony overlooking a large park, with the city and the ocean in the distance. The suite was quite spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the Moroccan restaurant (Al Warda) one night, and had a late dinner at the Golden Fish another night. The atmosphere at the Golden Fish was nice after dark, but we liked our meal at the Moroccan restaurant better. The concierge, Imane, was exceptionally helpful in arranging taxis, a half-day tour, and tickets for the Al Boraq train. The Club Milliseme (Sp) lounge on the 8th floor offered snacks during the day, with views over the garden and pool from tall tables and bar-height chairs, and a very friendly manager. We also stayed at the Sofitel in Marrakech, and found the Sofitel Rabat to be far superior - quieter, more elegant, and with better food.

Kawtar’s hospitality was outstanding. She always greeted us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.

We travel a lot, but we rarely meet someone as caring as Kawtar. During our stay, she remembered our preferences and always greeted us with a warm smile. She helped us organize transportation, gave us useful advice about the city, and made us feel more like family than guests.

From the moment I arrived, the setting alone takes your breath away — lush gardens, elegant architecture, and that perfect blend of French sophistication and warm Moroccan soul. But what truly elevated this stay were two remarkable members of the team: Ilham and Hasna. These two ladies were simply outstanding. Attentive without being intrusive, warm without being overly familiar, and professional in every sense of the word. They anticipated needs before I even had to ask, and their genuine hospitality made me feel like a truly valued guest rather than just another room number. Their smiles and dedication are a real credit to the Sofitel name. The property itself is stunning — the gardens are immaculate, the rooms beautifully appointed, and the overall atmosphere one of quiet, refined luxury. It’s the kind of place where you exhale the moment you walk in. If you’re visiting Rabat and want a stay that combines world-class comfort with genuinely human hospitality, look no further. And if you’re lucky enough to be looked after by Ilham and Hasna — you’re in for a treat. I will absolutely be back. Highly recommended.
