Days Inn by Wyndham Atlantic

It was horrible. The smell was atrocious and hit you the second you walked in the door. The smell of mold was overwhelming. The walls were filthy. There was mold on the ice machine. The only good thing was that it was quiet.

At least nine individuals were “hanging out” at the entrance of the hotel. Check-in was quick, but unable to accommodate request for a handicapped-accessible room due to all handicapped rooms having only one bed. Not sure why this hotel had as good of ratings as it did listed on Expedia. Holes in bathroom door. Elevator cannot be used between 12am-5am for some reason. With a handicapped person on the second level of the hotel, this could be a serious problem. Numerous persons who looked sketchy were out in parking lot at sundown that made me nervous to leave my vehicle in the parking lot. I booked this hotel for 2 nights, but cannot risk my and my handicapped partners safety.

It is in an abandoned area, with unkempt surroundings. Convenient to interstate but 8 miles to town.

We had so much trouble using the plastic card/key to get into the hotel at 9 p.m. and to get into our room both nights. We tried and tried. Another man in the hallway tried and failed. I went to the office to verify the card was activated. Fail again. I went back to the office and asked the clerk to come to our room. Of course, he opened it immediately. Breakfast was mediocre. Coffee was horrible--so weak. Beds made so much noise getting in and out of them and turning over. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable. TV remote was difficult to use. Shower was fine.

I travel 1 to 2 days every week and this might be the best most unexpected hotel I have ever stayed at The only bad thing is there is nothing else close Restaurants, Convenient stores etc

The toilet wouldn’t flush, very low flow. Seemed like it wouldn’t work at all if others were using bathrooms. Friendly staff. Also no food spots on this exit. Plan accordingly.

Room smelled funky. Hallway carpet was dirty.

The bed was a little stiff and the pillows were small and lumpy . Water pressure in the shower was not very high pressure for a usual shower . They may need to be updated with shower heads with better pressure . All in all it was a decent hotel and it was quiet and adequate.
