"Heerlijk verblijf in ruime kamers"

10.0

"Lovely old English style hotel in a good location"

8.0

Great location. Liked the English style of the hotel. Large rooms. Loved the games room. Staff very friendly and helpful

The beds were too hard and the hot water was a bit inconsistent. Breakfast was a bit limited in choice . Building work opposite so had to keep the curtains closed

"Beautiful hotel"

8.0

Absolutely beautiful hotel and likewise rooms. If you have booked halfboard suggest to come on time for the buffet as turnover doesn't seem high and the food will be luke warm/a bit stale. They don't serve beer/alcohol for dinner which would have been nice. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. One suggestion though: lose the white gloves. The hotel talks about Old World Charme in this city referred to as Little England. To me however, the gloves, while seemingly innocuous, were a part of the visual language of the empire, signaling dominance of the colonizers and the subservience of the colonized.
