Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel

My brother and I were headed from Louisville, Kentucky to Wausau, Wisconsin for a memorial service and decided to make a long weekend of our thousand mile round trip drive. Our planning included two days/two nights in our old hometown of Milwaukee and I wanted to plan those days as fun as possible because he hadn't been back since 1995. I chose the Saint Kate for it's location and the amazing reviews - we both love art and art focused hotels, we wanted a lively atmosphere, and we wanted an experience. Saint Kate did not disappoint. Great rooms, comfortable beds with soft linens and fluffy pillows! The bathroom was spacious and clean. And the atmosphere in the lobby and lounge were kicking. Would highly recommend and we can't wait to return!

The attention to detail extends even further: custom artwork is woven into the shower tile and bathroom sink, making even the most functional spaces feel intentional and special. For guests who want to get creative themselves, colored pencils and drawing paper are provided in the room — a delightful touch that perfectly fits the hotel's identity. A ukulele and record player round out the in-room experience for those who want to relax in style. Add in spotless cleanliness and well-stocked travel-sized toiletries, and this hotel earns every star. Whether you're an art enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates a stay that goes above and beyond, this place delivers something truly memorable.

10 out of 10 on every level. Food and drinks were amazing at the hotel along with the art galleries. Then it was also close to everything you'd want to see or a 15 minute walk or 5 minute car ride.

A fun hotel with great room amenties, it lives up to its moniker with galleries and fun artful touches to the room. The food was really great too. I highly recommend this great hotel.

This is a wonderful hotel in the Milwaukee Arts District on the river. We were greeted with a glass of champagne during check-in. The hotel itself is art-themed with beautiful galleries and displays throughout. Our room was very clean and well-appointed. Both self-parking and valet parking are offered. Parking is underground to the hotel and is very convenient and easy to get to. This is also a very walkable location adjacent to the Milwaukee Riverwalk. The Marcus Performing Arts Center is across the street. There are many coffee shops and restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. The ambiance of the hotel was fantastic. Our room even had a record player with a few albums! The only real hiccup is that the walls must be quite thin as we could hear the couple in the room next to us at times during our stay. We did not dine at the hotel, but the bar was hopping every night. We would stay again!

Thank you Nacho for the warm welcome. The hotel was lovely! The atmosphere was perfect, the gallery was beautiful. My kids loved the instrument and art materials in the room. We loved this hotel and will return in the near future. So many activities in walking distance!

We were in town for a conference held at the hotel, every aspect of our stay was outstanding. According to my wife, the conference facilities were excellent. Our room, housekeeping staff, food service, and drinks were all top notch. We had to engage the security staff for support in finding items we left behind accidentally. They were kind, professional, responsive, and thorough in supporting us, and in returning the items we left. We checked out on a sunday, realized we left things behind on monday, called them on tuesday and had our items in hand (on the east coast) on thursday. Outstanding! Warm and wonderful experience, a well run organization in every aspect of the operation.
