The Yorktowne Tapestry Hilton Hotel was a true gem. Found it on TripAdvisor after walking out of a hotel where we had renovations but could not stay due to the horrendous conditions of their guest rooms. The Yorktowne Hilton was an oasis of clean beauty and comfort with an outstanding, guest focused staff. Jennifer and Randy at the front desk were informative, kind, friendly, welcoming and professional. Great night sleep! Fabulous service. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, boutique, art, live music and entertainment - all in walking distance. Thank you TripAdvisor for helping us find this remarkable hotel!

"Amazing Renovation of a Historic Gem"

We have stayed here in the past and written reviews before the hotel was renovated about 12 and 15 years ago.. what a difference!!! Everything was excellent, breakfast, rooftop bar, front desk staff, ease of parking, and the design and space of the newly renovated rooms! As a Hilton Diamond status, we were treated very well! I highly recommend!

"It was lovely. I was exhausted and it was a fabulous place to flop.."

The creepy old church across the street with gargoyles! What a gem! I included pictures of that. The lavender planted @ the hotel was liveley as were the window boxes.

I just didn't like that parking garage across the street. In downtown there really isn't another option and I get that. It wouls not deter me from coming back in any way.

Small issues: waste can hadn't been emptied and was full of cucumbers(???). Shower was a handheld that was difficult to position in such a way so as not to flood bathroom.

"Classic Elegance with a Modern Touch"

We stayed at the Yorktowne Hotel as we were attending a family wedding. From the moment you walk in there is a classic elegance with modern touches. We were greeted very warmly at the check in desk. Our room was quite nice. The lobby features a beautiful wooden bar, seating area for dining and if you a play a lovely piano. The location was great, parking across the street, a short walk to "restaurant row" with plenty of dining and drinking options. We found our favorite feature to be the Graham Rooftop Bar. Bright, with great views. What really makes it exceptional is the staff. We were fortunate to Meet Rachel and Michael behind the bad as well as Aj and Becky. All are friendly and welcoming, making you feel like a regular on your first visit. They pour a great cocktail, and their Espresso Martini is second to none. We will stay at the Yorktowne Hotel again on our next visit to the area.
