Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel, especially considering the price compared to hotels in Madrid's historic center. The biggest strengths are cleanliness and comfort. The hotel feels new, everything was spotless, and the room was quiet, which was especially appreciated after staying elsewhere in Madrid. The bed was comfortable, the neighborhood felt safe, and the location was excellent. The hotel is close to public transportation, with easy access to both the metro and buses, making it simple to reach the city center. There are also plenty of restaurants, shops, and services nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We appreciated being able to leave our luggage after check-out, and they also kindly offered us an extra hour for late check-out. The elevators were impressively fast, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was generally good and offered decent value considering restaurant prices in Madrid. However, there is room for improvement. The coffee, cappuccino, and other hot drinks came from automatic powder machines, which felt below the standard I would expect for this type of hotel. I would have preferred fresh coffee made from quality beans and real milk. The fruit selection was also somewhat disappointing, although the rest of the breakfast offerings were enjoyable. Despite minor issues, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel offers a good balance of quality, cleanliness, comfort, accessibility, and value for money.

There were a few maintenance issues that prevented the stay from being perfect. The bathroom ventilation did not appear to be working, and there was a light in the bathroom mirror that was broken. In addition, the bathroom pipes occasionally made very loud noises. On our first night, the sound was so sudden and loud that we woke up thinking someone had fallen inside our room. There was also a slight sewer smell coming from the bathroom at times, suggesting there may be an issue with the plumbing system. The room size was adequate but on the smaller side, and adjusting the room temperature was not always straightforward. One thing to be aware of is that breakfast is served in a separate building on the next block. The walk is very short and normally not an issue, but on rainy days it can be inconvenient to have to go outside for breakfast.
