Hot water for my bath was hot!

Room felt damp….cold and wet. Very loud in room 303 next to a busy road, cars motorcycles. Tvs didn’t work with remotes given. Had to stand there and manually turn o tv…change channel.

I’m not sure why but my hotel room constantly felt damp from humidity. I thought the AC helped but when I came back from being out one day it still felt damp in the room and the bedding and carpets even felt damp. I’m also bummed the pool wasn’t open yet because that was the feature that had me choosing this hotel above others

First, I booked a King for one of the 2 rooms we booked and this was done with the hotel receptionist. It was NOT available when we checked in. They gave it to someone else. Both rooms (231 & 233) were damp. The rug and the linens were damp, and the rooms had a dampness to them. My tub and sink would not drain properly. Water came up over my feet when I was taking a shower. Our rooms were not cleaned on Saturday while we were out. We did not say anything to the personnel as I expected to do it this way.

It was a bummer that the pool was closed for my entire stay. It looks beautiful. The room I was in was not renovated yet (renovations in progress throughout hotel) and it smelled a little musty. Also the tv didn't work well. Believe it or not, the reception was poor. I'd probably stay again though because it is so close to where my kids live.

The bed was comfortable and the water pressure was good. And the staff was kinda nice.

The pool wasn’t open. The gym wasn’t open. The hotel is outdated and everything was very old looking. It smelled like musty mess everywhere and there was very loud people next to us for two nights and there was pot smoking everywhere in the building. There was also a drug bust while we were there with canine dogs and tons of cops and it was very scary.

The staff and the young lady who was working on the 4th of July she was very nice to me and my whole family and the maid on the 5th floor was very nice and friendly I appreciate everything they did for us. what really made me upset was we came away from out of town with the kids thinking that we was gonna be able to get in the pool and the pool was not working so we had to go to my Nephew hotel at the Marriott and get in the pool with the kids. That was the whole purpose of getting a hotel because it was the Fourth of July and we was down for our family reunion with the kids and it was hot so we wanted to get in the water so we had to haul the children 20 miles to another Hotel. I feel like we should’ve stayed at the Marriott instead of coming there in the hallway on the fifth floor when getting off the elevator had a mildew smell.

The fifth floor hallway, smell like mildew you need to take up that rug and get a fresh rug and put pictures up and flowers make it look like something and get better TV and don’t tell people y’all pool working when they don’t work. I’m just upset right now. I need a discount.

I booked this hotel on a trip and chose it because it had a pool. Upon arrival, we discovered the pool was not operational, neither was the fitness area. I would not have chosen this property if I would have known it didn’t have an operational pool. I feel as though advertising it was misleading to customers and that is a poor business practice.
