Comfort Inn - NYS Fairgrounds

While the room had a musty odor it was very clean and beds were comfortable. The staff was exceptionally pleasant and gave great recommendations for local restaurants. Would stay here again. Breakfast was great too!

Musty smell of room

I felt like the staff was trying their best but the property is in rough shape for sure. The window was open a crack and wouldn’t close, but also wouldn’t open more than a few inches. It was clean, just hard to over look the condition of the property.

The property is egregiously outdated. It felt like I stepped into an unkept Time Machine. Everything but the staff at this location is janky; the location (in an awkward, desolate area), the outer appearance (unkept and half the letters had dead bulbs), the rooms (unkept, crumbling all over, rust all over, tv was maybe ten years old, inexplicable holes everywhere, and maybe four dozen screws in the door), the elevator (shaking and scary), the air conditioning units (crumbling apart and sounds like a Jake-break). Altogether, I feel as though I was robbed from this location.

Super quiet location.

No close amenities like stores or gas stations.

Needs some updating, repairs. Tub stained. Staff lovely!

The breakfast was decent and all staff was pleasant and informative. They weren't bothered or irritated if you asked questions. The beds are comfortable.

The building is a little outdated. The room we received had a smell but I thought it was because it was an older building. We didn't find out until our last night that the wall in the corner was wet. That's where the smell was coming from.

Went to see a concert and the hotel was great. Bed was super comfortable, room was huge!

Clogged sink was pretty gross. Previous guest must have trimmed their beard and the hair was stuck.
