Comfort Inn & Suites Madison - Airport

Great hotel, highly recommended!

old, dated, and kind poorly maintained. Items had been cleaned, but overall in need of a serious overhaul.

Parking was horrible. Not enough spots available. Very dark at night. Not enough lighting. Had to park behind hotel.

The pool room was hotter than a sauna, did not swim, felt I wasted extra money, it would have been cheaper to get motel. This Comfort Inn & Suites is not what I experienced compared to other Choice Hotels previously. Only one tiny trash container for 2 rooms. Too many people around hotel asking for money.

Great location and value, made it easy to go to anywhere in Madison.

Somewhat clueless, tried hard, but had to change rooms as cable connector for TV pulled out completely, they were unaware, second room got channels but not the ones they thought they got, staff didn't seem to be on same page, ok for a quick stay in a pinch or for teams of kids,

We arrived about 10 minutes early for our 3pm check in and were told it would be another 30 minutes. I checked back in 30 minutes later and I was told it would be a other 30 minutes. Mind you, we had places to be by a specific time and we were now running an hour behind schedule. Once we got to our room it had a strange smell to it. We had a king bed suite and the only thing that made it seem like a suite was the hot tub. There was a tile broken off of the side of the hot tub and it was just propped up against the spot it fell from. The TV was crooked and it did not offer any smart features. Also, the TV signal was awful and was constantly cutting out. We paid more than usual for a one night stay, I was hoping for a little more. We promptly left and attempted to get a refund through Expedia who advised us to speak with the hotel and our financial institution to possibly dispute the charge. While on the phone with Manager Daniel, he was extremely rude. We would've settled for a discounted rate for the stay due to inconvenience of check in and non-working amenities. He had the audacity to tell us we were lucky that we only waited 1 hour to get checked in since some guests were waiting up to two hours. His inability to ensure rooms were ready for a busy weekend does not mean guests should have to suffer the consequences. We opted to drive two hours back home in the middle of the night after our concert instead of staying in that atrocious room. We will be disputing the charge.

First room had spider webs and smelled like a wet dog. Police were at the hotel 3 times durning our stay. I do not recommend.
