Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Charlottesville North

The room is clean and in very good conditions. The fridge was too loud. The rooms don’t get cleaned daily.

Front desk personnel were very welcoming. Room was very clean, but some things need upgrading. We enjoyed a restful sleep in the comfortable beds.

Wonderful place to stay for a vineyard wedding north of Charlottesville.

Very good stay at well maintained property. Good location within 15 minutes of downtown Charlottesville but only 15 minutes from very good hiking and biking. USB or USB-c in rooms would be nice.

Needs updating! Musty and strong air freshener odor throughout

I’ve stayed at Marriotts around the world and never once been harassed after checkout, until now. This Fairfield Inn, of all places, crossed that line. The stay itself wasn’t the issue, but what followed was unacceptable: Jane, the sales manager, sent me unsolicited texts pushing for more business. That’s not follow-up—it’s a breach of privacy. No other Marriott property has ever done this, and I won’t be returning.

Wasn’t my 1st choice, but it was a last minute trip. Very clean; comfortable; worth it. Location was just off rt 29, so about a 10 min drive to UVA campus. (No traffic)

Stayed for three nights and never had housekeeping. Were told every other day which would have been OK.
