La Quinta by Wyndham Emporia

I walked into the lobby and it had a bad smell. I walked down the hallway and the smell continued. I turned around and cancelled my room. I then went next door to Comfort Inn. There was a couple in front of me that did the same thing. I've stayed at other LaQuintas, but this was the worst for lobby smell.

Great breakfast, pet friendly, parking

Do not make a reservation here if you are traveling with a U haul. We were told at check in we could not park on site unless we disconnected the Uhaul from our vehicle. We were also advised we needed to make our own arrangements with the restaurants across the road or Walmart to park there. It seems the same rules don't apply to a school bus parked on site or a truck hauling a trailer parked at the rear of the hotel. Only plus...the room was nice.
