Best motel ever! We'll make certain Fox Mountain fits into our travel itinerary every time!

Retro setting with modern amenities!

I'm a big guy and the bath tub shower was very small for me but it did the job.

Recently renovated in 2024. Not your average motel. We stayed two nights (not consecutive) last week of May, 2026. Best motel ever! It reminded me of motels from the 1950’s that you see in old movies. A time when the owners took pride and individuality in their establishment both inside and out. The rooms are decorated with care and attention to detail. Very calming, peaceful colors. Even down to the switch plates! You could almost call it a boutique motel. The beds are very comfy and the rooms, lobby and grounds were super clean! The hosts Jim and Marsha are the best. Very accommodating, polite and courteous. Miss Marsha makes fresh cinnamon rolls every morning for the guests and coffee is available. The outside is very pretty. There is a fire pit with chairs. A couple of picnic tables and grills should you decide to have a cook out. There is a contained dog area. For those who smoke, there’s a very pretty area is set up under some trees with flowers scattered around and chairs to sit on with a little butt bucket attached to the chair. Location is convenient. Easy on, easy off the highway. There is a LOVE'S less than 5 minutes away to get food from Chester's Chicken, snacks, subs, drinks, gas, etc.

Clean, everything works

This part of the country is just beautiful. The inn is quaint without being too kitchy. It’s very clean, comfortable and manned by two wonderful people.

Nothing, but do remember to pull that shade down if you do not want to give the parking lot a show.
