Fox Mountain Inn

Mountain Inn is a privately owned motel run by a hardworking and gracious couple who clearly take great pride in their establishment. The rooms are impeccably clean, and their strict but thoughtful pet policy ensures a peaceful experience for all guests—something I truly value and respect. I was especially grateful to find such a well-kept room where I could stay comfortably with my small dog. The next morning, we were treated to percolated coffee and homemade cinnamon rolls—a charming and delicious touch that made our stay even more memorable. I highly recommend Mountain Inn to fellow travelers with well-behaved pets who appreciate cleanliness and respect for shared spaces.

Perfect halfway point for our trip from up state New York !

The only issue that we had was the heater - air conditioner unit that was in our room was so loud we didn’t sleep very well !!

The heater was noisy, but we turned it off before going to sleep and the room stayed warm enough through the night.

Remote, not near any quality restaurants. Not scenic. Touted as pet friendly but no place to walk dogs.

this place was wonderful. A thoroughly renovated motel . soooo clean and cutely decorated. Enclosed lighted dog yard . Homemade cinnamon buns in the morning. Close to the interstate but far enough off to have lovely views

the fact that Booking .com got the address wrong.; Its EAST Lee highway not Lee highway

We had such a fantastic time!!! The owners were so friendly. We had so much fun sitting around the bonfire chatting with others visitors. Having a place to eat right next door is also very convenient. We will be back!
