Dev Niwas - Heritage Hotel

Pool was nice. Hotel looks good as its an old King's residence. Vibes are great. Looks from the Restaurant good but food is a bit pricey.

WiFi connection in the room was bad if there was any at all.

Fantastic - fully recommend this to anyone. We had a great stay here and the location was excellent just off the Main Street and close to the fort and palace. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice and all in keeping with the style of the property. Great!

The angle of the floor in the bathroom meant water pooled near the sink, and this made it quite messy after a day or two, but only a minor point.

Best hotel stay I've had in India. Beautiful and comfortable property. Great food with a view over the city. Beer & wine available. It really does look like the pictures and was a perfect place to stay.

The host charged us for 2 days though we had booked for 1 day. This was informed once we had already checked in. Food was expensive.

Dev Niwas was a welcome surprise. A maze-like reinvention of an ancient haveli, it has a special character and beauty. The restaurant is the highlight, with an awesome view of Bundi’s hillside palace. We ate at least one meal there every day, and the table service was very good. The suites are unique, comfortable and clean. I doubt you could do better for the price.

Be prepared to contend with the cacophony of the city around you. I would return.
