Days Inn by Wyndham Saint Pauls

Walls are so thin, we could hear a woman in the next room yelling at someone on the phone. She made several such calls over the evening and night. People were openly smoking marijuana several doors down. No elevator or food service. Clerk sat behind a steel grating. Lobby was locked. Burn holes in blankets.

It was a good stay.

Had an enjoyable stay, rooms clean and smoke free, bed was comfortable and staff friendly ........didn't take advantage of the breakfast but variety looked good. Easy on and out of the parking and parking lot.

Desk and lobby smelled of burnt rubber and electrical burnt smell during check in and smelled the same the next morning, the so called breakfast was 2 loaves of bread and a toaster with a bowl of jelly, a basket of apples, oatmeal packets, and a choice of 2 cereals. The coffee was awful. Not worthy of the $100 charge I would avoid this as a place to chose in the future.

Not enough parking

Easy in and out from the interstate.

Room was very clean and there was no smell of smoking could have had more to offer for breakfast and also coffee was cold. Some places I have stayed offer scramble eggs and bacon they also have waffles machines

None of the hotels in the area had great reviews. I looked at several different brands/chains. They were all only okay. I picked the one slightly closer to my final destination. This hotel is heavily used by truckers. I felt safe. Front desk check-in lady was very friendly. Room was tolerably clean. That is the important things that needed to be clean were clean--linens, tub floor, toilet, sink. However, the carpet had not been vacuumed--visible pieces of paper and dirt on it. I did not walk on the carpet barefoot. The walls of the shower also needed to be cleaned, and there was a suspicious stain on the bathroom door frame. Germaphobes shouldn't stay here. There was also visible water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom that hadn't been properly repaired. Since I was on the first floor, this is a leaky pipe issue. Breakfast is minimal and there was no decaf coffee. I highly recommend the Huddle House across the street. I wouldn't want to stay here more than a night, but for a night on the road, it was okay.

They could stand some paint new curtains etc. Air freshener for smoking rooms. New or clean the trash can outside the room. New towels etc. I was shown one rate then charged a higher rate.

The check in was great. The room was great. The service was good.
