UAINLocation is excellent, breakfast was very good, and information sharing by the staff is very helpful during the stay. They also supported for access to bus stand and cab hiring.

BEThis is a great hostel in Passau in a bit of a castle, with excellent view from the walls. This needs a few minutes of walk but it is well worth it out in the clean air. There is also a restaurant close by ("Oberhaus") with good food but prices above what a hostel-dweller may expect. Everything was nice and clean. The wifi worked well and the breakfast was fine too.
It was wintertime and the light on the footpath leading to the town was not lit, also slippery. We planned to go down to town initially but were happy with the dinner we have found. Yet, there is only one restaurant up there that some may find a bit too expensive, especially among the hostel-dwellers.
