Fogelman Executive Center

This is a real intetesting set up. Lovely surrounding on a college campus. If it is after 3pm it is best to check in at the Holiday Express across from the entrance to the campus. Very comfortable, nice soaps, we had a balcony and could look down on the students coming and going from classes. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a unique property and I enjoyed my stay. There is no staff or service on-site but, if needed, readily available across the street at the Holiday Inn (where you check in). Convenient parking and access to campus (I took a nice walk around). The exterior door of the building does not lock and you do not need to use your room key to enter the building. Despite this, I felt safe as I only saw 2 other guests staying there. It is extremely quiet. The room has a comfortable bed and up-to-date bathroom and decor. There is a refrigerator and Kuerig coffee maker in the room. Surprisingly, many other spaces in the building were accessible as I walked around the property (sitting room, kitchen, computer space, etc). Overall, a unique property perfect for a traveler who does not like to be bothered and is "low maintenance".

Everything I experienced is what I was informed of. This facility met my needs for a basic overnight stay. LOVED the location as I was visiting the U of M campus. Price was good compared to other facilities.

It was no one at the desk to answer any questions. It was overall a bad service to book it and to check in

This is a unique property that I will visit again. I was initially skeptical since it’s not a traditional hotel and is a little confusing for first time check in/parking. Once someone directed me across the street to the Holiday Inn (where I’ve stayed before but was booked), everything went smoothly. In fact, the facility is super quiet, has covered parking in a garage and nicely appointed rooms. The shower had both a shower head and a hand held - not often seen in a reasonably pried property. Most amazing was the balcony! It has privacy and seating for two, plus a little table. Great way to enjoy morning coffee. Only suggestion is bring your own K Cups (the room only had one regular/one decaf) and the shower water pressure was a tad soft for my taste. I will definitely visit this property again when in Memphis as the location is ideal for all parts of town and the experience different from the norm (in a good way).

Where to begin! To start things off, the pictures displayed on hotels.com are not correct. The entrance shown is a Holiday Inn located 2 blocks away. Our room was located in another building that required driving. Check-in was confusing and NOBODY is available to help. After 20 minutes, of trying to find some help, we realized we had to drive to the Holiday Inn to check-in. What a wonderful experience after driving for 6 hours and having to walk around in the Memphis heat at 3 in the afternoon. The room itself was comfortable and clean. The housekeeping staff woke us up 3 hours before checkout. Now, the best part of the stay (sarcasm)....My finance has neck issues that require her to bring and use a very expensive personal pillow, about an hour after checkout we realized we had left the pillow. We were pretty much told after an hour of trying to reach a manager, that housekeeping could not be reached and it was probably thrown away. Absolutely unacceptable. People forget things hotels all the time and we returned back within an hour! I say again, this was the worst experience we have ever had.

Very unique experience for me. The hotel belongs to the university. The only inconvenience is when we arrived, the check in desk was closed and we had to go to holiday inn opposite of the street to get the key. But overall everything was great.

If you're looking for a cozy and clean room at a fair price, this is it! I couldn't be more pleased with my stay!

Have to go across the street for check-in. Property is dated and musty. Rooms just so-so.

We checked in at the Holiday Inn with very friendly staff but when we got across the street at midnight to our room at Fogelman, it had not been cleaned. The staff at Holiday Inn were very gracious and gave us a suite at the Holiday Inn for the night. Our other concern was security. We parked in the garage and walked to the nearby building. The door was open to the outside at midnight not requiring key access and we got to the door of our room without having any outside locks.
