Lovely find for a stopover en route back to Rome from the East coast. Avoiding toll roads the scenery was stunning Very helpful and friendly host.

Macchiagodena is the quintessential Italian hilltop town and this charming old stone pile is the best place to stay the night, your gracious & solicitous host Ludo will go beyond the call of duty to ensure your comfort.

My only complaint is that the room did not have windows to enjoy sweeping views of the valley & mountains beyond, but that's an old castle for you.

Very conveniently located in the village, you can do everything by foot. The owner was very friendly, helpful and flexible.

The staff was great and very helpful. The room was big and clean.

The parking area is a little limited and hotel isn't walking distance to any restaurants. You'll need to drive to get to any restaurants.

The owners are really lovely and helpful and available to your every query. The property is very authentic and rustic. Loved Macchiagodena and the property location is very central overlooking the amazing mountain views. The common outdoor pool area was really lovely and relaxing.

Didn't realise that the bed for the third adult would be at the foot of the main queen bed. This is great if you're parents with a young child but not if your adult. Just be aware.

Everything was perfect. The rooms were clean and comfy. The owner was always available on WhatsApp and my family loved everything there. A lovely building with nice view from the pool.

The cleanness and the space.

The parking entrance, it was quite dangerous to remove and park the car on it, because it is close to a corner where people tends to drive fast!
