Quality Inn Bishop near Mammoth

The room was stuffy. The air conditioner with either alwayson or off. There was no automatic control. After catching five fish at the local lakes, I found that there was no community freezer in which to store the fish at the hotel. I asked the desk if I could use their freezer, and they said it was full of milk and condiments and such. Five fish barely fit into the room freezer of the refrigerator. The next day I caught three more fish and had no place to put them. I asked a different person at the front desk if I could store them in the freezer, and he said that he could accommodate that. All I had to do is put my name and room number on the bag. So apparently the first person at the desk that I had talked to was referring to the refrigerator instead of the freezer. But there was still no obvious community freezer in which to put fish caught locally. Other hotels that I have stayed at in Bishop offer that option.

Terrible service. The man at the front desk was rude and unfriendly — he even refused to let us use the restroom, saying there were no public restrooms, even after I checked in. I asked for two room keys since we were two guests, but he claimed they only had one key. Seriously? I just saw him program the key card in front of me! The room itself was clean, but this person at the front desk ruined the entire experience. Show your ego to your wife, not to your guests.

I enjoyed my stay and will come back again.

very pet friendly the area around there is great for walking dogs, a block from the city park where all the events are two blocks from Eric schatz bakery yum right in the middle of town easy to walk to everything

Easy to find. Walked to restaurant nearby. Decent breakfast option. A little expensive for size of room for 1 night.

This was the worst hotel we ever stayed in. It was so bad that we decided to cut our trip short. Staying another night was unbearable. The room reeked of stale tobacco. AC was so loud we couldn't sleep. There was no wifi - I had to use my hotspot on the phone to get a connection on a laptop. To top it off, the manager was rude and dismissive. The mini vacation we were so looking forward to - ruined.
