Would have been nice for the shower to have a hook to hang out on.

Staff on reception Rachel were lovely warm greeting. Brilliant big room with sofa clean and bed comfortable. Good food, excellent. Location peaceful

It was better than we expected. We loved our stay albeit brief. The standard of cleanliness was exceptional in all areas, bar, dining, reception, toilets, bedroom. We had dinner in the evening and were expecting standard pub food. We ordered scampi and were pleasantly surprised at the high standard - served quickly, food piping hot and came with everything we could want and more than we thought we would get. We chatted to couples who have visited on several previous occasions which confirms all of the above. I have already recommended to friends and hope to come back again soon.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Staff attitude, breakfast appalling

The property is well located and near to Watchet and Minehead. Rooms are basic but very clean and well stocked. Bathrooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Beds are very comfortable. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast is good, plenty of cereals and hot items along with fresh tea, coffee and juice. We left well rested and well fed.
