Esthers Guesthouse

This is a first-class guest hotel in the most beautiful town in the world. The property was immaculate when we checked in, and continued to be spotless during our four night stay. We did not see the staff for the first day or two, but that was OK because it was easy to check-in after hours, and there was helpful signage where needed. Our room was an "attic room", third floor (the way Europeans number their floors, with a lovely view and private bathroom. Comfortable beds with fluffy comforters, and an amazing locally-sourced breakfast for $20 euro. We can highly recommend Esther's. The staff was extremely accommodating and unobtrusive.

There is a shortage of headroom for people over 6' in the kitchen/dining rooms, and half of the upstairs "attic" room. This is not much of an issue if you're careful, but it is possible to bonk your head if you're not careful. Since the ceiling tapers down near the end of the bed where you lay your head, it's a little uncomfortable to read in bed.

Our favorite experience was eating breakfast from local vendors in the common area and meeting the other guests.

Location is unbeatable

There was a guest that came that didn’t have a key left for her. We chose to help her for several hours to track down one of the staff members. Feels like no one is around and hard to talk to anyone. We even wanted to have laundry done, but couldn’t find anyone to give it to. So we just didn’t end up doing it.

This beautiful guest house was the best place to stay for the Switzerland trip. The apartment we got was beautiful with so beautiful views, balcony, amazing rooms and spacious well equipped kitchen. we were lucky to get this place to stay for our trip to Switzerland. people don't get the booking to stay here. we loved the beautiful village. everyone here was so welcoming. loved our stay here.

Everything was really good about this place except the sewage smell in the washroom. It was on and off thing.
