The hotel was very pretty and the staff super nice

there was some dust on the vase in the room, which doesn't bother me usually but considering the cost I would have expected the room to be super clear.

"Very disappointing average at best"

Having stayed in the past at the whispering pine lodge (same company) we had high expectations that place was amazing. But unfortunately it failed. Only Positive room was clean and comfortable. This hotel says Dog friendly and it should say dogs allowed there was nothing friendly about it Most hotels provide a little doggy welcome treat this did not. The staff don’t seem happy to be there. Food was such a disappointment having already eaten as above we knew the standard however it’s slipped basic at best the price is borderline ridiculous for what you get. Chicken Tikka masala £24. Breakfast selection okay having walked in at just before 8am after saying good morning to the male sever we received a grunt acknowledgment, the hot food was just coming out Luke warm best describes it so god help anyone coming later expecting hot food . On check out we weren’t even asked how was our stay Very disappointing overall so glad we booked last minute so didn’t pay full price.
