The location is excellent and the staff were helpful. The hostel is clean, comfortable and has a nice relaxed vibe. The breakfast was delicious.

It was very noisy at times and the music in the main living area was loud and still playing at 11pm . It's an old building and sound travels. The free breakfast consisted of 2 small flat breads with peanut butter and jam plus a coffee and a juice. You had to pay extra for granola yoghurt and fruit or eggs. I had read online that the granola and fruit were included as free and they were on my first morning but for subsequent mornings I had to pay extra. I felt the advertising was misrepresented. It wasn't much extra cost but it's the principle. The kitchen is not open to guests to be used until 8am so if you're awake early you can't make yourself a hot drink. A kind staff member helped me out with this on two of the mornings and I was grateful for that. They also advertise a takeaway breakfast if you checkout early but this was not available. All minor stuff in the grand scheme of things but even just an accessible kettle for guests would be appreciated. Overall I would still recommend this hostel.

Goede en mooie locatie

Mooie foto’s op hun site en eenmaal geboekt vlieg je een een ander veel minder mooi gebouw 400 m van het mooie hostel. Zogezegd extreem lekker en inbegrepen ontbijt … ja als je voor alles bij betaalt . Zelfs voor een tweede koffie moest je betalen. Onverschillig personeel

Beautiful building and nicely done up. Still to try the breakfast.

The main building stinks of dog piss. I was put in an annex which had none of the charm of the main building. The pillows are homemade and not fit for purpose.
