Townhouse Hotel

We arrived at the hotel on Friday after 4o'clock to find the doors all locked. It took 3 phone calls to finally gain admittance, the lady on reception was very nice and helpful. Saturday morning we left at 9.30 to meet some friends there was no-one on reception then and when we arrived back after 10 in the evening still no-one! The facilities are dated, you have to run the hot tap in the bathroom sink for about 5 minutes before you can run the shower. Not very ecologically sound! There are no breakfast facilities beside it saying there are, the bar is part of the restaurant facilities. No hairdryer in room even though it says there is. The worst thing though was the pair of dirty underpants in the bathroom cupboard drawer!

Great location, very friendly. Clean and pleasant room. Changed booking to a twin at short notice.

My room was very small but clean and warm with lots of tea coffee etc pity no breakfast but found fab place near by

Wymondham is a small town, there aren't many hotels to choose from. The Townhouse does not abuse its privileged position. There is good value for the money, and Rose-Marie is a superb hostess. As other people have pointed out, it is unusual to have a hotel without breakfast facilities, so guests should find out what options are available locally.

Well located in the middle of the town near to pubs and restaurants. Well equipped rooms.

Excellent position in the middle of Wymondham steps away from The Cross and good bus service into Norwich to save taking the car. Very good 'snacks' provided daily by the host.
