It is a simple and basic hotel, mostly made of wood, with shared bathrooms. The location is reasonably close, although you need to cross the train tracks, and it is situated in a quiet residential area.

It is a decent place to stay when visiting the Shirogane Blue Pond. However, as we traveled outside the main season, many places in the village were closed. Visiting from Asahikawa might be more convenient in November, although I have to admit that seeing the village at night, quiet and almost empty, has its own kind of charm.
