Airport Layover B&B

- nice balcony - nice rooftop - clean room and shared bathroom - 24 hour reception - tasty breakfast - host knows a lot of tours that are budget friendly, including safari trips in Sigiriya area. Can’t find any lower price - close to airport

- slightly hard to find bc tucked away in an alley - train will pass by in the morning, which is very loud. But not frequent train, maybe one or two in the morning - airport shuttle service is more expensive vs PickMe. Can book on your own

The house is situated just next to the train lines! I can’t believe that Nowbody mentioned that before in the reviews. You feel that the train passes through your room. Impossible to sleep! No curtains in the room so you have all the sun in the morning.

The hosts seems to be nice and the breakfast was normal

We arrived during the night, at 2pm, and we stayed only 1 night. The location seems to be quite far from the airport, on an unsecured area. We had only 1 bathroom for 4 rooms and very poor conditions. There were lizards in the room and windows didn’t have glasses.

Easy location for the airport, easy to arrange airport pick up and very polite, friendly staff. Great breakfast. Massive bed.

Two of the window panes were non existent and it was quite loud with the nearby trains and rain (nothing ear plugs couldn’t fix!)

The room is spacious. On the other floor, there is a terrace where you can relax and eat. The owner, especially the mother, is very helpful
