Alea Resort Villas

We loved a lot of things about the villa. The view is amazing. The outdoor kitchen is amazing. The pool and outdoor space is great. The bedrooms are all a good size and the balcony view is spectacular. But most of all, the host was amazing - responsive to messages, really friendly and caring, and presented us with a hamper with food and drink on arrival and then freshly laid eggs from her chickens during the week. We loved it. We also really liked Lefkada in early May - good temperature and not crowded. We liked Lefkada Town and Agios Nikitas the best.

You need a car to easily access the villa and surrounding area, but I assume most people would hire a car to explore Lefkada island anyway.

Beautiful well equipped villa about 1km from the town. Set well back from the main road with security gates. Excellent outside kitchen facilities and private pool. Maria, the host, is friendly and helpful.

Lovely villa in a quiet location with a spectacular view. It was perfect for a holiday with a family with small children. The garden area created a safe environment and the children were in the pool all of the time. The house was spacious and had all the facilities that you needed. Maria could not have been more helpful and our granddaughters loved feeding the pony and seeing the deer. I would highly recommend the property.

The only downside was that you cannot walk to tavernas for dinner. However, there are plenty of lovely places to go within a short drive.

Maria met us upon arrival with local products and some essentials like water, juice etc. We could even check-in a little earlier than planned. We felt welcomed since arrival. She was always available if we needed anything and brought us some delicious home-cooked food during our stay. At the same time she always respected our privacy before she visited us. The house has an exceptional view across Lefkada town. It is equipped with everything you need, various coffee machines, toaster, grill, large fridge, full-size oven, small dishwasher, microwave etc. We especially loved the outdoor kitchen and the outdoor shower. You can basically live the full outdoor life, if weather permits ;) We also felt very secure, since both houses are situated within a gated area. We only travelled as a couple and where looking for privacy, but we can imagine that it's also the perfect place for families with children, since there are some animals around kids can visit and feed. I would definitely recommend a rental car to get to the house and of course to discover the island with its beautiful beaches and small towns.
