Lagos Atlantic Hotel

Private hot tub on the wrap around porch was incredible. Daily breakfast was great.

Limited services on site- no room service and no shop, but there was a vending machine

Breakfast was excellent with very good choice and lovely food. The decor of the hotel was lovely, mostly contemporary but softened with floral additions and colourful canvases of the area. Our room was quite large, well appointed and was very clean. We liked being able to walk down to the beach in just a few minutes and although we needed out car to access the town we felt we had chosen a good area to stay. Parking was always available when we returned to the hotel and it was under cover which made the car bearable to use in the heat! Staff were low key but polite and helpful.

There were only two issues for us, the pool was far too cold for us to want to swim which, given that the sea itself is cold being Atlantic, I had been looking forward to swimming so for me, this was a huge disappointment. In the pool area music was constantly played and although the volume and style tended to change, I would have much preferred peace and quiet to read my book and relax.
