Saturday night was a little scary, could hear gunshots going off close by.
Everything was fine. Anlittle flexibility in the housekeeping schedule would be appreciated but I understand it's a small hotel and housekeeping is only on site for a little while. Not a problem.
I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The room was nice and spacious... and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom looked updated. I was so happy that when I open the door, there was no weird smell or the smell of smoke in the room since we had a non-smoking room. We have encountered this problem at other economy hotels. We were traveling with the dog, so there was plenty of space for her to walk around the room.
Bathroom had only one towel, and dead bolt on entrance door didn't locked. Otherwise nice
USIf you're traveling to or from the Valley and Fulfurrias is your stopping point for the night, this Econo Lodge will do. It's older, and even with some renovations still fees like it. However the room was clean and while it wasn't the most comfortable place I've stayed, I was able to sleep. The free continental breakfast is Econo too, but if you don't mind cereal it's fine. Look around for deals, because you shouldn't pay much to stay and here and if you look around a little you won't have to.
There was bugs in the bed. A small bug crawled out of my pillowcase, and the next day the maid found more bugs in the bed. They did fumigate my room that day. The fridge was great! Most of the time they barely cool. The tv was still the older big box model. They told me they were getting the new flat screens in that following week.
Great place to stay. Comfortable beds, quiet, and the staff were very nice.
The stay was nice juat think they need to upgrade their television and more options for breakfast not much to choose from but cereal and toast .
We were well greeted, the rooms were nice, impeccably clean and well cared for. Even though the stay was brief, it was nice and relaxing. I will definitely stay there again. And lastly, the price was really reasonable.
