Some interesting thoughts. Check in was swift, which was great due to a long day of driving. My first room however was not. The first thing I noticed was that one of the lights next to the bed didn’t work. The second thing I noticed was stained fitted sheet. Third thing I noticed was that for some reason the tissue in the bathroom was soaking wet and plastered against the counter. The fridge had two ice packs in it from a previous guest. Went down and asked for a new room. Second room was cleaner but still had its issues but these could mostly be overlooked except for one. The telephone is just a piece of decoration. There was no cord attached to it or the wall. There was not a cord in the room for the phone. I noticed this when I was going to find out what time breakfast was. Should my phone battery had died and I had an emergency I would not have been able to ask for help. Fitted sheet was again thin and stained, so I slept on the top sheet. The blanket had two burn holes in it from a cigarette. The alternative entrances also were unlocked when I checked in at 10. They do not have a key card reader to remain secure and anyone walking by could walk right in. So two large security concerns. The only reason I did two circles was the friendly interaction from the evening clerk, who provided a swift check in, and the night auditor who expressed sympathy and understanding on why I asked to be moved. I left before breakfast was served…maybe? This property clearly is in neglect from its owners or mismanaged. I got the vibe that the staff cares but aren’t given the proper tools or/and understaffing is done. I have a feeling the staff is probably not paid enough; as well given the skipping of simple fixes to make this easily a decent hotel. My heart goes out to them.

Property is right off I40 so easy to get back to traveling

I really love the way the king size bed was comfortable and it had plenty of pillows on the bed

The AC unit doesn't blow hard or cold and room 119 you literally have to use a washcloth to plug the drain so you can take a bath and also if you try to take a bath you're taking a bath and a shower together there is no way to turn the shower off and the mini fridge barely even got cold and I figure with it saying breakfast included it would be a hot breakfast like biscuits gravy scrambled eggs sausage bacon stuff like that that is how you're going to get more people to come in to your motel not just honey bun and cereal I mean I paid $73 for 4 hours sleep got up and left

Front desk clerks were friendly. Convenient location.

“Breakfast” was white-bread and cereal, juice. Swimming pool not open. Vending machines not stocked, signs directed you to go to front desk. Front desk clerks were nearby (back office or on couch watching TV) but never behind the desk.

Musty odor in hallways. Comfortable bed. Needs upgrading. Nice people at front desk! Would stay again as single traveler.

Older building that is run down. Needs lots of updates. Clean

Front desk was not very friendly, holes in the lamp shades, plaster patch’s on walls. Bed was comfortable and clean towels. Cleanliness was ok. Older hotel which I Don’t mind yet alittle renovations would be nicer.
