Bird Baldwin Forsyth Suite

Location, location, location! This place is unbeatable—extremely clean and comfortable with tons of natural light, perfect for early risers who love waking up to sunshine. The balcony is a dream—spacious and cozy for relaxing. The only minor suggestion would be to include extra linens for the couch or for sitting outside during cooler evenings. The suite was huge! We had the Forsyth Suite, with territorial views and trees out of every window, and comfortable king bed with nice linens. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a dishwasher that we managed to fill in 2 1/2 days. We liked being a 15 minute walk away from the river. The multitude of tree lined squares were more interesting than the hectic tourist center. Cocktails on the SW facing porch after a day of walking really worked for us. Some good restaurants nearby.

The AC units are right on the sitting porch and could be distracting. The key pads on the main entrance and suite door were a little hard to use. The parking spaces are numbered and correspond to your suite number, which we were never told and that caused an issue with a neighbor. The hardware on the shutters was a little wonky. There was occasional street noise at night, but not much a problem.

Quiet, really nice accommodation and very clean. Perfect location for walking in Savannah. We would definitely return.

The only thing was the hot water took a long time to get hot and it could have been hotter. But really no other problems.

I came to Savannah for my niece's wedding, but wanted to stay and see Savannah. It was at Soho South. Just a couple blocks on Liberty. It is very close and convenient for attending the wedding and the family get together on Sunday. I felt I was at home away from home at The Bird Baldwin House. The bed was so comfortable. I enjoyed my stay in the Forsyth Suite immensely. I was thankful I chose your accommodations. I highly recommend a visit to your home. I liked having free parking. Plus, I felt safe as a woman traveling alone.

Carrying my luggage up and down three flights of stairs. Luckily, I had help going up from another guest. I made it down just fine going one step at a time with my luggage. I'm not sure if I could have made it up the three flights of stairs with my luggage without assistance from the guest directly helow me. He was so kind and thoughtful.

Beautiful apartment in an historic home. Large living room and bedroom, spacious bathroom, and kitchen with small refrigerator and coffee makers. Lovely original wood floors and nice furnishings, with a very comfortable bed. Great location walking distance to many restaurants and shops.

The single pane windows do let in some street noise, but it isn't too much.

The unit we rented was great!

It was such a cute apartment type place. It was a very comfortable and relaxing environment. And the location was perfect. Far enough away from the river front that you don't hear all the goings on but close enough that a quick walk and you are there.

The only thing i did not like was that the virtual room was not the same as in person. It had not been updated from renovations. The bathroom did not have a tub in it like the virtual room. But that is the only thing.
