"It sucked!"

After eight hour travel day and in an attempt to take a shower and brush my teeth, the water was coming out of the faucet and shower completely brown!!!! Several other guests were complaining of this simultaneously. The response from the front desk was “well. We can’t help it when something happens with the township……This is what happens to us.” What???????? Do not ever stay here - the response from management was nonexistent and the response from Hilton was equally bad. Hilton has lost a long time customer as a result of this ridiculousness. For $300 you too can have a smelly brown water shower and a really crappy bed to boot.

This hotel is a true gem. Tucked away in a quiet spot, with a shopping center and restaurants nearby. Conveniently located to explore the area from Newport, RI to Cape Cod. Our room was spacious and comfortable; breakfast was better than most, with hot and cold options that slightly varied from day to day. Staff was nothing but nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Frequently stay at the Hampton Inn Cape Cod Canal but it was booked so tried this Hampton Inn. It was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was super friendly. No complaints.

The seating in the breakfast area needs reupholstering. Nonetheless it’s immaculate and well kept with a good assortment of breakfast choices. Also I suggest that the hotel provide an area to place brochures of local places of interest.
