Nice hotel on the beach. Excellent service from everybody, excellent food both at the hotel restaurant and the Beach Club. Not convenient to the town or the Anse beach, taxi required. Do not plan to drive on your own in Grenada as the roads are narrow and very crowded and the locals tend to be aggressive drivers.

Me and my husband arrived to the calabash during our wedding to check in and drop our luggage and return to our wedding. When we arrived we was greeted outside as we pulled up and they knew who i was which was great. They showed us to our room which was so beautiful. The next day we was so tired so opted for the breakfast on the balcony which was delicious so many options to choose from! We also had room service for dinner which was nicely presented and tasted amazing except the lobster bisque which wasn’t to our tasting. We had a wonderful stay there and definitely will return.

We just returned for our incredible stay at the calabash hotel. If you are looking for a luxurious getaway this is the place for you. The staff is SO attentive and by the end of our time there we genuinely felt like we were leaving home. The food is great and the breakfast on the porch every morning is so incredible. They really go above and beyond to accommodate any and all wishes. Thank you for welcoming us and providing us for the best getaway we’ve ever had - we’ll definitely be returning!

Calabash is unique experience that everyone should enjoy!

The hotel is owned and managed by a family that is invested in seeing that guests are well-provided for during their stay. They obviously have been successful since the rare many guests who return year after year. The food in the main restaurant is delicious with a well varied menu. The wine list could use an update with perhaps some Chilean or Argentina’s additions but that’s an easy fix. The beach is small but well maintained and you have the option of driving just a 5 minute trip to Grand Anse beach is you want a bigger option with many more people on it. This resort is quiet and peaceful so if that’s what you are looking for, this is the spot. Lovely suites with updated decor and large, modern bathrooms.

We were escorted to the room as soon as we arrived. They gave us the tour and finer details were left in a neat package for reading on our time. It was really a luxury hotel..the ambience made us feel relaxed and happy. The property is on the beach and there are many options where you would like to have your meals. The infinity pool is gorgeous. Dinner at the resturant was excellent, service was great and no long wait for food. They always checked to make sure you were comfortable and refilled your glass when near empty. Staff is very attentive. Activities are unlimited. We would surely return and recommend this hotel to our friends!
