"Best hotel to use as your home base when exploring Alexandria and D.C."

Loved that the hotel was about 10 to 15 mins from the airport (depending on traffic). It’s nestled amongst historic homes In Alexandria. It’s actually quite easy to get around and there is so much historical information to be found. Happy hour was great and all the art work makes for interesting conversation starters. All the staff made you feel special as if you were the only guest at the hotel.

That there was no available ATM. Nor do they have a shuttle for airport pickup. Breakfast in the restaurant was subpar.
