The location - the Alta Citta and the centre of Bergamo are in reasonable walking distance.

The property needs a thorough clean.

Super helpful owner. Answered many WhatsApp questions instantly - food tips, trips, everything.

All was great. Only small thing is, that apartment has 3 rooms. When there is someone loud, you are limited.

Besides being located in the heart of Città Bassa (really close to all the terraces/pubs/restaurants/minimarkets/bus station etc) but still on a relatively quiet street, this accommodation had everything you might need for your stay in Bergamo - even a longer one. Spacious room with private bathroom (it also has some alternatives without private bathroom - so pay attention to what you select during booking), a very spacious walk-in closet, common living & kitchen area, complimentary coffee to get you started in the morning and safe building with multiple locked layers (gate, building door, apartment door and room door + locked safe for valuable items, if any). Manuel, the host, was extremely helpful & friendly. He agreed to an earlier check-in just because I got there at 9:00 AM in the morning, he offered some tips for my stay in Bergamo (like which buses to take, where to eat like a proper local, how to get from one location to the other etc) and he even got back to the apartment because I wasn't able to turn on the bathroom sink (my fault, not his). He was also super responsive and made me feel like he was always just a quick message away in case anything else was needed or if I had any other questions (even stupid ones like 'how do I use the bathroom sink :))). I think this is a great choice - for solo travellers, like me, or even for a family/small group - and an excellent value for money. Will definitely try to go back here if I ever decide to see beautiful Bergamo again.

Nothing to complain about - I think it really is up to you to read the description carefully, to pay attention when booking and to adjust your expectations properly depending on what are your top priorities (adding this here just because I read some of the negative reviews that had nothing to do with the property itself or the host).
