A Peaceful Getaway in a Stunning Treehouse Setting We had a truly memorable stay at Bilin Tree House. The architecture is absolutely amazing — thoughtfully designed to blend beautifully with nature, creating a sense of peace and harmony from the moment you arrive. We were warmly welcomed by three friendly staff members who looked after us throughout our stay. Their hospitality made us feel right at home, and we honestly wish we could have stayed longer. Our room on the first was spacious, clean, and very comfortable — ideal for a relaxing retreat. We highly recommend Bilin Tree House to anyone looking for a quiet and serene escape. A perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature!

That said, there isn’t much to do outside the property itself, so we recommend planning your days with outdoor activities. Visiting the Galle Dutch Fort or spending time at Unawatuna beach are great options to complement your stay at Bilin Tree House.

The location is just 5-8 minutes by tuk-tuk from the Galle Fort, but it also offers a sanctuary to escape the heat with its gorgeous cold pool. The staff are incredible. The tuk tuk driver, Lahiru, is the most helpful, smiley person; he dropped us off and picked us up on numerous occasions. He works for Bilin Tree House, so getting around is super easy. We stayed in the cottage, which is a 300-year-old original bungalow. It is lovely and quiet. The staff let us stay for the day at Bilin Tree house as our departure from the airport was midnight. They even brought us towels and cold iced water while we swam in the pool. We will definitely come back to stay again. This was our last night after 2 weeks in Sri Lanka, and we were very sad to leave.

It was a peaceful oasis from the moment we stepped through the door. Our hosts were warm, thoughtful, helpful and informative.

We loved everything about our stay! The property is full of charm, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. But what truly sets this place apart is the staff—they went above and beyond to support us with our baby, from preparing food to helping keep her entertained. Their kindness and hospitality meant so much to us, and we’re truly grateful.

Loved this little beautiful gem. Garden was so lovely and the rooms was very spacious and beautiful decorated. Nice a quiet area but quick to get to the old city or the beach by tuktuk in 5-10 minutes.

It was a bit pricey

Amazing ambience and service. The staff were extremely professional and helpful. Had a fantastic 2 day stay with friends. Would highly recommend this place.
