Bed was not great.

Location, clean, excellent breakfast.

The bed was very uncomfortable. It had dips in the mattress and was too soft.

I have stayed at many Marriott properties over the years and this was the worst. Every employee I encountered seemed to have an "I don't care " kind of attitude. It started when we first walked in to check in. The lobby was kind of dark, not very inviting. No one was at the desk. I waited a while and when no one came, I called out "hello" a few times and someone finally came from the back office. Two mornings in a row I had to tell the breakfast lady they were out of hot water. They were just not on top of things. Our room was supposed to be cleaned on Wednesday morning. We left a few minutes after 10:30. They were on our floor cleaning. I spoke to a young man who was cleaning a room about two doors down from us and told him we were leaving and the room could be cleaned. We got back about 5:00 PM and the room had not been cleaned. I went down to the desk to ask about it, I was very nice to the lady and all she said was she didn't know why it was not cleaned just an "oversight". No way it could have been an "oversight" when I clearly told the young man we were leaving, even gave him our room number. I asked if someone could come and clean it and she said "no" everyone had gone home, we had to carry our own towels, toilet paper and kleenex. She did not offer anything to us by way of apology.Before this happened, we noticed the bathroom floor did not look clean, dirt in the corners. Really makes you wonder how clean the room was. I have no idea how Marriott tracks their properties to see if they are up to "Marriott" standards, but I think they need to check this one because I don't think it was. The only positive thing was, the room was quiet. I guess I can give it one star for that.

Clean room, comfortable bed, spacious room and welcoming staff. Hot tub works but timer is a bit messed up and pool is heated but still very cold. Great experience overall though
