Econo Lodge Milwaukee Airport

For the first time ever in my life.....I liked NOTHING about this place. We even checked out a day early and went somewhere else!

The whole place was filthy. The hallways are un-vacuumed, vending machines have a film on them, it smells. The breakfast area (which is just donuts and coffee) was also dirty. The lobby was the only clean spot, but no one was even there when we checked in....except for the cops. Our room....where do I start....it absolutely reeked of stale cigarette smoke, the bed was the worst we've even slept in, the mirror had a film on it, the bedside tables didnt work (one was completely missing a bulb), the bathroom wall was crumbling, the A/c barely worked and we had to open the window, which was also dirty and had to be propped oped with the ice bucket. Which I would never get ice here because that machine was also dirty. And there isn't a water fountain anywhere. Was booked for 2 nights here....left after the 1st and went to another hotel.

In a good area

Hallways smelled. Out shower had long and pube hair and when I told the front desk she said housekeeping went home and offered no solution to fix it we weren’t able to shower. The people upstairs were very loud and made it difficult to sleep. The man at the desk for the night was nice and helpful the woman not so much.

Room was fine. Staff was great.

Hallway had an odor.

Staff was a little rude. Kept giving us dirty looks and reminding us no smoke even though it reeked like weed
