Tokyo Cubo - Hostel

Near proximity to the train station, Paskal Hyper Square and Istana Plaza. Indomaret by the corner and plenty of street food by the roadside in the morning and evening.

The bathroom desperately needs a major makeover. Pillow could be a tad firmer, it’s straight out flat.

The blanket is too short.

Just outside are some local cafes and food shops. The pod was clean and comfortable. The barber shop guys next door were good for a yarn. Close to the train station. There is a liquor store just down the street. Reception let me check out the night before, because i had an early morning train. Then made sure i was awake the next morning to make the train. Counter intuitive but nice just the same :) front desk had fair to good English skills. The showers were hot.

The receptionist could not or would not tell me of any points of interest in the city. He said “ just look online” . The toilets were not clean. Common area was not welcoming and uncomfortable. Not really a backpackers hostel, more for workers and stopover for natives in transit.

The matras was super thin, so I mostly slept on the hard surface underneath the matras. Also the common room could really use normal tables and chairs.

Great location and friendly staff.

Not very clean and found the were more mosquitos in the hostel than outside of it!

Centrally located small hostel. Dorms are seperated by sex and beds are pod-style, great for privacy. Good AC and wifi.

Not enough space for luggage. Bathrooms were dirty, especially the sinks were gross.
