Hampton Inn Monterrey-Airport

Breakfast was mediocre. WiFi is free, but you only get extremely limited speed useful for checking emails. If you want faster internet, you have to pay for it... AC was bad and in desperate need of cleaning - couldn't keep it turned on because of bad smell. Very noisy environment and not very good soundproofing. I guess it's OK for one night, but definitely not suitable for longer stays.

Suited my office work location

close to airport. air conditioner worked well. bath sanitaries on place. fresh bed linen. stuff rather friendly and quick.

strong disturbing smell in lobby and in the room. barely warm water in the shower. bed creaks with every slightest movement.

all was good

The hotel is a short 5 minute drive if even that from the airport. The hotel looks well kept, my room was up to date with a nice big screen TV and very clean, however there is an enclosed area behind the lobby that is shuttered off with leftover construction materials that could be used as a green space instead. The staff was excellent, check-in and check-out were quick and easy, the airport shuttle was very convenient, breakfast was good, but the breakfast tacos looked more American than Mexican which I didn't like. Also, there is a Chilli's next door and several other nice restaurants, such as El Papalote, within walking distance. All in all side from the Taco Bell breakfast tacos I enjoyed my stay very much.
