C12 - Sunshine Luz House by Dreamalgarve

After checking in and receiving directions to this apartment, the staff member admitted they had never been to this rental before and couldn’t give us better or more specific instructions. It took us a while to find and once we did, we couldn’t park at the building because the lot required a parking code we didn’t receive. No problem we were only passing through for one night so we parked at the lot behind it and carried our suitcases because rolling them wasn’t possible due to the streets condition. Walking up to the property we were concerned for how well maintained this property would be inside due to the dead plants and unkept appearance at the entrance. The inside was relatively clean aside from the used complimentary shower supplies and ant problem (but not the only place we’ve stayed that had any issues). Beds were hard but towels soft. Outside terrace was quaint, private, and needed due to the busy location. Over the hedge from indoors you could see the ocean in the distance, so the walk wasn’t far to reach the beach. Beautiful views along the way! The pictures provided before booking must have been at the terraces peak appearance but unfortunately looked in need of care during our stay. Over all if we had stayed longer I may be able to provide more information but honestly one night was enough for my family (2adults, 3kids). Decent quick stay to enjoy the scenery. Attending to the front entrance and back would be helpful in the over all aesthetic.
