El Faro 101 Surf

Excellent location, close to the main street where all the restaurants and action is happening. Lovely pool and garden area to relax in the sun overlooking the pool or ocean. Accommodation is very clean, with all the amenities one needs.

On the occasional night, dance music kept us awake. Earplugs are a must. Also, we would have liked to know what days the housekeeping was available. It was not communicated to us, and there was some confusion.

pros: large pool that is never too crowded to find a chair no loud music at the pool, older crowd just relaxing location is great; in the middle of the strip room cleaning apparently included; we found out by walking in on a maid in the room large comfortable king bed pool security were friendly and always brought us an umbrella when we asked cons: pool didn't seem to be heated room pretty dated and could use some modernization. needs a deep cleaning, paint job, new furniture. i thought the shower glass was frosted but it was just dirty. mold in the shower. no shower caddy for toiletries. bring shower sandals, the water backs up a bit. a bit loud at night since it's next to a club but it didn't bother us and we knew about it i'd say it's a solid 7.5/10 due to the location, pool, and atmosphere. would be a 9/10 with some modernization of the room.

The property is beautiful. Check-in was quite easy. The condo was very clean and had everything we need. The bed was very comfortable. My only minor complaint was the cooking utensils could have been a little better. The frying pans were warped, and there was no proper fry turner. If you are not cooking, you will have no issues.
