Staybridge Suites - Waterloo - St. Jacobs Area

I stayed at the Staybridge in Niagara on the Lake last month and expected this one to be the same. I was a bit disappointed with a few things.

Family Friendly

The hotel and the room was great. The service was great. The pool. Meh! Looked like a dirty bathtub and had way too much chlorine. So much that it burned your eyes while sitting around the pool. The door into the pool was propped open when we arrived to allow ventilation and the door to the outside was broken so you could not get air flow, but also a safety hazard. The pool has potential as it is geared to families with a splash pad and a wave blaster. But they need to get someone in to make the pool a top tier pool.

All was great experience!

Very pleased with the room and its amenities. Breakfast was great and everyone was very nice. We appreciated the location. So close to shopping, farmer’s markets and interesting towns

Loved that it is right across the street from the market and a short walking distance to the Playhouse. Nice clean and spacious rooms.
