Tree Houses Hotel Costa Rica

The Tree Houses Hotel was better than we expected. We wanted to be in the rainforest and that is exactly what you get at the tree houses. There is plenty of trails on the 80 acre property to explore and the staff is excellent and very helpful with a focus on making your stay in Costa Rica a great experience.

Beautiful setting, outstanding staff. Definitely rustic, The Frog tree house is nice, very small bathroom. Bring your ear plugs for sleeping, it’s close to a loud main road.

A little off the beaten path, but that was what we were looking for for our last 2 nights in Costa Rica. The free night hike is a must do. The hike down to the river is a bit long and steep, but the views were lovely, and we had the place to ourselves. Breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious, and included great conversation with the owner Rae and her assistant Yeandra. We had a wonderful time!

What a wonderful experience everyone was so friendly we took the night walk which was exciting and informative. We saw sloths and all different kinds of beautiful birds

We absolutely loved this treehouse. So peaceful and beautiful. However the beds are uncomfortable and about a 40 minute drive to la fortuna. Great service overall. Just change the beds and you’ll be 5 stars.

Booked the tree house as a special treat and it was wonderful. The Sloth House, which we had booked was a little close to the road, but we were offered a larger tree house with a hammock (my partner loves hammocks!) for the rest of our stay which was perfect. The whole area is teeming with wildlife and a couple of trails through the forest and down to the river. The service was friendly and breakast good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we were even visited by a couple of toucans on our balcony on the last day.

It has a waterfall on site great food, awesome staff. Only con is limited hot water.

Unique stay. Really enjoyed the birds at breakfast and night walk was fun.

Amazing treehouse vacation. Great coffee delivered to balcony in the early morning. Wonderful cooked breakfast. Night walk with Siller unique experience. Treehouses basic but fully comfortable and spacious. Staff was unfailingly friendly and attentive. Close to many recommended attractions. Recommend.

The Tree House Hotel was an amazing experience. Loved being in a Tree house as an accommodation. We were in the slough treehouse with a wrap around balcony. It was wonderful to sit on the balcony and enjoy the wild life. The room had queen size bed on the main floor with bathroom and shower. You had to climb a ladder to the above level where there were two single beds. The room did have A/C which made for comfortable sleep. The property offered walking paths which lead down to the river or over to a small waterfall area. This area was nice but need some maintenance to bring it up to an enjoyable relaxing area to hangout. The Tree House Hotel offered complimentary breakfast each morning and for you coffee loves a pot of coffee on your deck in the morning. The Hotel also offered a free night walk with a guide we were able to see scorpions, bullet ants, tarantula and a tree frog.
