The staff were very friendly and easy to talk to! I could borrow both a towel and a hairdryer for free. I really appreciated that tea, coffee, milk, and water were provided for free. It was especially nice to be able to use them when eating in the common room. The kitchen was well-equipped, which was very convenient. It was very close to the Oxford station and there was a supermarket nearby.

The toilets and shower rooms were clean, but since they are shared by all guests, it was unclear when they were cleaned or when items like bath mats and hand towels were replaced. I forgot my charger, so I sent a message asking if I could use a USB cable in the room instead. I was told that they could not provide a charger (which was not a reply to my message). However, the check-in counter’s service menu mentioned that adapters were available to borrow, and the room sockets were actually compatible with USB charging. I had already bought a new charger before check-in, so it was an unnecessary expense. I wish the response had been more helpful and informative. As other guests have mentioned, there was loud music and noise coming from the pub downstairs at night but not every night.
