The location is fantastic. It is about a 10 minute walk from the train station and few minutes away from the centre of Oxford. They also provide complimentary tea and coffee. Showers were strong and have female only rooms.

I wish that the beds had curtains around them for added privacy.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, and toilets and showers were clean. That's it. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend anything else about this hostel.

My bad experience is not due to the hostel's condition, but the people staying in the same room. Before sleeping, a lady spent ~1-2 hours with her "face cleaning routine" (that's the best explanation I could come up). Very annoying using her phone's flash light and even using like a face massage machine. When I woke up, the same lady was putting more things in her face... (WTF?!). The smell in the room was completely disgusting, probably just because of the lack of hygiene of one of the guys sleeping there. I have stayed in many many hostels (not so many recently though...) and never experienced anything like that... people, please, take a shower! So I had booked two nights, I only stayed one, and I happily paid a room somewhere else for the second night.
