Perfect for a weekend escape in the nature. Nice place with all necessary facilities for a perfect relax and the location is great to explore the region.

Stop-over in Mons on our way back to Sweden, greatly appreciated a dip in the pool after a long drive. Beautiful place and very nice hosts, quiet and and relaxing. Breakfast was amazing, local products and home made. Perfect!

Heat wave when we were there, would have loved AC or a quieter/more effective fan in the room. Insect screens on windows would be great and a few more power outlets in the room.

Exquisite stay at this wonderful house. All amenities were outstanding. Our hosts were extremely helpful and the breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended ! The private terrace overlooking the gardens is giving an extra relaxing atmosphere to your stay.

We first stayed at Stéphanie & Julien after an enjoyable supper in Mons and loved the overnight stay & Sunday brunch experience. Their warm welcome, interior design taste and excellent cooking skills were much appreciated. We then asked them to organise a private brunch with 20+ friends. They were very well taken care of and food was both excellent in quality and quantity. The beautiful summer weather even allowed us to make the most of the roof terrace and garden. We felt a little like we were intruding on the family privacy. We were told we could use common spaces but frequently there are barriers set up to prevent use of the patio. The small window in a corner of the room provided very little natural light. When we opened the window in the evening for fresh air mosquitoes inundated the room. Location is not within convenient walking distance to central areas. Rooms are not sound roof as the guests next to us were loud. I also had to stop someone from coming into my room when I heard a key inserted in the door on the morning of our first stay. No one knocked to check if the room was vacant. Room was beautiful. I loved the wallpaper. Really good WiFi speed. Great ensuite bathroom. Nice Amenities. Comfortable bed. Lovely couple who own the home. Peaceful neighborhood.

Before we arrived I had to call Julien because we were running late and couldn't make the incheck-time, but that was no problem at all. When we arrived Stephanie welcomed us, offered us a drink and showed us the room. We could pick the room we wanted, because it was on a monday so it was quiet. We picked the scandinavian room, because we liked the interior more (the other room is the same size etc...). After dropping off our luggage we asked Stephanie where we could eat and she gave us a map of Mons and the directions. There is where we had some bad luck: after our diner we returned to our car and the window was smashed and our jackets stolen... because we didn't know anything in Mons, we returned to the B&B. Once arrived (it was already 11pm) Julien and Stephanie were already on their private floor, so we had to disturb them. Once we explained the situation, they immediatly offered their help, called the police and covered our broken window. The next morning (after a delicious breakfast, loved the jam) Stephanie guided us to the policestation. She also borrowed us a jacket (ours was stolen) and we could leave our luggage in the room for the rest of the day (we went to Pairi Daiza and the weather wasn't great). They were the kindest hosts ever and although we had some bad luck, they made our stay better! The only negative point was that we only stayed one night!
