This hotel was incredible! We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a two-level suite upon check-in. The room was amazing!!! I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the room. From Nespresso coffee machines to full-length mirrors, a comfortable work desk, magnifying makeup mirrors and thick blackout curtains, everything was taken care of. The breakfast was also delicious and offered amazing variety. The location was also great: just a few minutes' walk into the center of town but on a quiet street. I really can't find anything to fault in this hotel.

We stayed here in May with a big group of friends while celebrating a 60th birthday—and it couldn’t have been a better base for a weekend of wine tours. The reception team were absolutely fantastic: endlessly accommodating, always helpful, and seemingly able to organise anything at a moment’s notice—umbrellas, taxis, you name it. The food in the hotel was spot on throughout our stay, but breakfast deserves a special mention. The selection was excellent, and the fresh cakes were dangerously good (diet plans didn’t stand a chance). A brilliant stay all round—highly recommended if you’re travelling with a group or just want somewhere that gets the details right.

1st Class service! Very nice rooms! Comfy beds. Hotel seating areas abundant and beautiful, relaxing. Food exceptional.

The hotel is modern and conveniently located 10 min walk from the historic centre. The room was spacious, very clean, cleaned regularly and well equipped - kettle, hairdryer, robes, slippers etc. Vincent on reception was very helpful, friendly and pleasant.

Many 5 stars offer you a welcome drink and a porter to help with luggage - these weren’t offered to us on arrival, even though we arrived late. However, the thing that other reviewers have commented on before is breakfast. It really is like Fawlty Towers… Firstly, it’s served in a lounge/bar area (not in the hotel restaurant) and the chairs are too low for the tables, so everyone is eating their food off their knees! Secondly half of the food is laid out on temporary tables in a dark area of the room. What food there is, is mediocre at best… think sweaty cheese…Thirdly, we were never offered a breakfast menu, even though we knew we could order eggs. Finally, the chap who was clearly in charge doesn’t seem to like people - I had to go and ask him for a coffee and it never came. He just seemed to spend his time cleaning tables and making sure guests paid their breakfast bill. One lady (his deputy) was doing her best but it needs more than one person to resolve this disaster!
