Falls Church Marriott Fairview Park

My room was like a sauna when I walked in. The A/C was very loud and had to run all night to stay cool. The TV didn’t work properly. I had a spider in my bathroom next to pub hair on the floor. There was no full length mirror in the room. Only a small mirror above small sink. I had to get dressed in the hotel bathroom so I could what I looked like before heading to the office.

I like the renovations completed on the hotel. The room’s adjoining room allowed noise from another guest to be heard quiet easily so I got woken up at around 5:30-6 am from someone talking on the phone in the room that was adjoining ours. I also don’t think it’s moral to charge a $13.00 parking fee, when there is no cameras in the parking lot in case of theft, and signs posted that state to bring your stuff in because they will not be held responsible even though I was forced to pay the parking fee park in their parking lot where I just paid approx $200 a night to stay.

Lobby was beautiful and staff was welcoming.

Charging an extra $15/day to park was ridiculous. Additionally, roping off available parking to paying visitors of the hotel for an outside event was a fail. Also, most of the ice machines on each floor did not work and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom in our room.

Nice but snack bar is expensive

Stayed here for one night when our A/C was out. It was quiet and clean and has good beds(I'm very particular). Also, my daughter forgot her AirPods in the room and the hotel staff turned them in so I was able to retrieve them for her. I thought they were going to be gone forever. Thank you to the wonderful and helpful staff! Marriott will always my go to from now on!

1st issue I have faced was, During check in. When I booked my room with free self parking, however during check in the front desk staff member tried to make me pay $30 per night for parking and when I showed him that we get free parking he would not let us and insisted on making us pay and tried to convince me that it was not true and I was miss led. I asked for the manager. He walked away for few minutes and when he came back he stated that he will give me free parking this time but next time I will pay. 2nd issue was when I checked out I received my invoice and I was overcharged by $10 more on my invoice. I called left a detailed message but have not heard baack

We liked the room we were in during our stay. It was nicely furnished and had very comfortable bedding. The hotel is in a quiet area, and the room was very quiet overall. The abundance of USB ports was a plus, especially bedside. I wasn’t a huge fan of the $13/day parking though. The Concierge Lounge was a nice place to do work and relax. They had good food and beverage offerings for the evening and in the mornings. We didn’t have time to try out the fitness center, as our stay was just overnight. But we were pleased to have stayed here, and look forward to being back soon.
